Soundproof cabins reduce workers’ occupational noise exposure levels when, due to technical constraints or large equipment size, it is not feasible to apply control measures directly at the source. These cabins can be implemented to operate noisy machinery and/or to create protected rest areas away from noise exposure—provided the production process allows it. They feature acoustic panels and doors, and depending on requirements, may include ventilation systems, translucent surfaces, and designs that allow the entire cabin to be mobile.
